Where and What to Eat in Klong Prao Beach

Up the hill from White Sand Beach is Klong Prao Beach, much quieter in terms of shopping and entertainment. However, the area is packed with a large selection of accommodation – the majority of which are of four-star standard. Home to Klong Plu Waterfall, one of the most famous attractions on the island, Klong Prao is a great place to stay, especially if you enjoy serenity and want to explore unspoiled nature other than the beach and the ocean.

Not to be missed is a couple of small restaurants at the entrance of Klong Plu Waterfall. A simple meal of Thai style papaya salad, sticky rice and a roast chicken will give you more than enough energy to explore the nature in the area. In addition to the usual Thai fare, international cuisine like Italian and Indian can also be enjoyed.
